About Us
Founded in March 2020 with the goal of offering equitable mental health outcomes and a greater sense of community to South African youth, Mindful(l) Organisation is a youth-centred mental health organisation which aims to destigmatize mental illness and create a community of collective care through a holistic and creatively curated approach which is driven by peer-based healing initiatives, mental health education and access to free psychosocial support for young people regardless of their background.
Using a dynamic approach to mental health care, we address our communities using a three-tiered approach which centres psycho-education, community-based healing interventions and psychosocial support.
We seek to empower our network with the vocabulary and toolkit they need to understand their mental health and to introduce healthy and sustainable solutions into their lifestyle that make managing their mental health easier. We also strive to create safe spaces and to power activations that are true to youth culture and meet out community where they are at.
Whether you prefer an individualized approach to mental wellness or seek to heal and grow in community with others, Mindful(l) Organisation exists so that you never have to feel alone.
" As young people, our identity and establishing a community that supports who we are is essential to our sense of belonging and growth.
Mindful(l) supports the exploration of both."

The Mindful(l) Organisation team is united by a shared commitment to facilitating mental wellness and equipping our community with the tools they need to thrive. As a collective, we bring together lived experience, professional expertise, and creative approaches to healing.
